Therapy for Depression

If you have been feeling down, helpless and/or having trouble enjoying things that you used to enjoy, you may be experiencing symptoms of depression. Depression is heavy and can make every task feel almost impossible.

A recent study found that up to 42% of Gen Z Americans experience depression.

In therapy, you will get the chance to identify patterns in these thoughts and emotions while exploring your own strengths and goals that will help you to feel more hopeful and more able to create change. Depression is treatable. There is hope. You will feel better.

If you are having thoughts of hurting yourself or dying, please dial 988 or go to your local emergency room. Change is possible. You will feel better.

I will help you to explore your own strengths and struggles in a safe, nonjudgmental space. My goal is to be transparent, supportive, and informative while being culturally sensitive, trauma informed and LGBTIA+ affirming. I use an integrative approach that includes techniques from CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT and psycho-education.
