Therapy for Anxiety

Do you often feel like your thoughts are a hamster wheel of worries? Is it hard to let negative thoughts go? Do you struggle to be present?

Or, have you experienced panic symptoms, like an increase in heart rate, sweaty palms, and lightheadedness?

Approximately 1 out of every 5 Americans experience anxiety. It is common- and it is treatable.

In therapy, you will get the chance to identify patterns in these emotions and explore how your experiences, beliefs and past experiences affect your mood. You will learn coping skills with an individualized treatment plan to help you with what you’re dealing with now and what is to come.

I will help you to explore your own strengths and struggles in a safe, nonjudgmental space. My goal is to be transparent, supportive, and informative while being culturally sensitive, trauma informed and LGBTIA+ affirming. I use an integrative approach that includes techniques from CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT and psycho-education.
